I have been taking 3000mg a day. some say take less some say take more its confusing. i take 1000mg 3 times a day and everyone is sick around me due to th weather change but i feel great.

remember i take it 3 times a day so the body can absorb what it needs at different times.
i am on a high protein cutting diet s i get little vit c in food.

medicine???? its bloody vitiman. i have read dr kennel has used high doses to cure colds and mono. i have had mono before

Babe, if you feel great on 3000mg, stick with it. My threshold is 1500mg a day. Anything over that and I'm on the loo all day, lol.
If the 3000mg a day is sending you to the toilet with loose stools, then back it off until that calms down. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing. You're doing your body a big favour :)

Talk with your caregiver about how much Vitamin C you should take. The amount depends on the strength of the medicine and the reason you are taking Vitamin C. If you are using this medicine without instructions from your caregiver, follow the directions on the medicine bottle. Do not take more medicine or take it more often than the directions tell you to.
Taking large amounts may cause diarrhea

U dun really need to waste money on those vitamins pill. u gets vitamins from the food u eat. and excess vitamin c being excreted out of the body so its a waste of money to buy those vitamins suppliment

HA ha,if you take that much you should be shitting everywhere,too much vitamin c gives bad diarrhea,you only need like 200mg a day.

i dont think there is such a thing as "too much". its water soluble so you p it out anyway.
