Yes, exercise helps, but you need to eat less too. You need to get your metabolism working harder and both exercise and eating less will make that happen.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Depends on what else you're doing. It is very possible to lose weight just by eating a healthy diet. Of course, eating healthy foods and losing weight will cut your risk factors for heart disease, diabetes, etc, by quite a bit.
But, just because you're slim doesn't necessarily mean you're fit. The benefits of exercise far outweigh any discomfort or inconvenience involved.
Besides helping you lose weight faster than just through good eating habits alone, it boosts your metabolism, releases beneficial hormones and other chemicals in your brain, relieves stress, helps your heart, aids digestion, helps you sleep better, boosts your immune system. The list goes on and on.
Focus more on being healthy than just on being slim.

If you should try to find an exercise that you will like....i know at first you may don't want or don't feel like doing exercise...but when you start a good exercise program you will not want to stop...try only for 2 weeks first...try different types of sports, exercises and trainers....
Dare yourself to do a type of activities that you always wanted to do , but was shy to do so....
Once you'll find something you like and make you feel better, you will not want to stop.
I always wanted to do belly dancing but I was a shame of my belly.. i dare my self to do it ...now i love it and want to do it every day
i don't have Beyoncé or Uma Turman stomach...but it's better then it use to be... I'm more confident.

Your only goal should be that you feel better then you use to be...
Feeling good about yourself will help you for your modeling career...

Good Luck !

Not exactly. You could probably get off with just dieting to begin with, but when it gets to a certain stage its impossible to lose anymore weight without exercising.

Exercise is good to keep yourself fit & healthy.According to my experience, it does not give that good results which you expect though it's a good source to decrease your specs' no.
