not really knowledgable on ie7,i've been deleting history and cookies using internet options from the start menu,it does this ,but nothing goes in the recycle bin,any advice gratefully appreciated

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

Nothing goes in the recycle bin when you delete these anyway.

on the desktop right click on internet explorer ico and clcik properties, then in the pop up click clear cookies

go to tools at the top of the page, click on options,then privacy,then cookies...hope this helps
