I am 35 year old female I have the same condition, If possible eliminate as much stress in your life as possible, that is the main culprit. Tanning works too if you have time, but the ointment I have used works really well it is MG217 Medicated Tar Ointment in a blue and white container, the smell is awful but it worked for me.I also had it in my hair too I used a tar shampoo that's called T-Gel I used that on my body as well . I used my stuff every night ,it helped with the itching and it seemed to heal it right up in about a month or so. Try to use all ointments at night that's when I was told to use them because your body actually heals while you sleep so I have been told and you won't offend anybody by the smell. Vitamin E helps or just take a daily multiple ,Stay away from regular lotions they DO NOT work. I know it's hard but try NOT to scratch, it will spread and get under you finger nails.I had that stuff all over my body I was covered so I know how you feel. You can get the shampoo and ointment at a pharmacy. Good luck hope this information helps. Signed Amy

There can be substantial variation between individuals in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments. Sometimes, the creams are just not enough to heal/suppress the outbreak. There are different methods available, just tell your doctor that the topical treatments are not working and he can put you on a stronger medication.

It depends on what doctor you go to. My siste has psoriasis and her creams weren't working, either, so she visited an actual dermatologist, and her game her cream in conjuction with a prescription drug that helped cure it.

Lifebuoy Soap. I kid you not! You know the pink one that's been around forever.
Use it twice a day and watch the psoriasis disappear.
