Don't just ask your doctor about it, actually ask to be seen by a dermatologist, a lot of the times it is a bacterial problem and creames or oxy pads can't solve the problem. They offer a cheap pill called tertocycline, or menicine which kills the bacteria causing agents. Ask your doctor if this would be right for you, I can't stand pimples they bug the **** out of me! Oh and for the acne scars don't pop your acne with your fingers nails, only the tips. The medicine will also dry the skin and the old marks will disappear because you face generates new skin cells faster.

You could try laser therapy. It removes the top layer of dead skin cells so the scars or lines dont seem so deep. You really need to research the doctors in your city, because you need someone who is experienced or they can burn your skin.
You could also try chemical peels. I would suggest to have a few consultations, and decide which sounds the best for your skin type.
Good Luck!
