Of course meditation is not demonic.
I started meditating when I was 12, and seriously when I was 19.
Back then I was a very bitter, and angry sub human.
Today I am a mild mannered kind caring human being.
I would not be the person I am today without meditation, and I am pretty sure I would not be alive at all today without meditation.
I don't know why some people think meditation is demonic. I guess they fear something they do not understand, or they become afraid when their mind starts going through a stage the Buddhists call makyo with audible and visual halucinations.
these experiences are only the fears held by the subconscious mind, Your job ti to persist in your meditation without being distracted. At some point the subconscious realizes there is nothing to fear, and those fears drop away.
I would HIGHLY recommend the practise of meditation.

One of the funniest (unintentionally) things a very religious friend once said, when worried about meditation, was, "If you open your mind, you never know WHAT might get into it!" She honestly didn't know why I found that so funny.
No, meditation is not demonic. It's been proven healthy for you. If someone has legitimately frightened you, say a prayer before and after your meditative sessions.

I don't know what you believe? If the idea of meditation turns you off then you don't have to do it.
If you are hyperactive or you get excited easily maybe they are telling you to relax. I think that people want you to calm down for what ever reason? I don't know if they are referring to your temperament or that you just get excited to easily?
If things upset you easily then maybe it's because you are sensitive and you need to develop a thicker skin. If you are stressed out try relaxing by going to a salon for a facial or back massage.
Both are good for relieving tension and stress. Drinking herbal tea's are also good and taking a combination of vitamin C & B stress formula complex.
I also found that reading the bible also helps those who are searching for answers.

In my research of this subject, I have found that meditation is supposed to be a way to relax, get rid of distractions, and become one with oneself and the universe (nature). This poses a problem for the Christian because the Bible states that if we keep our minds stayed on THE LORD, HE will keep us in perfect peace. This is not something that we should try to look within ourselves for. This can open us up to self-worship and being influenced and deceived by demonic forces! But if we cast our cares on Jesus, He'll take the load off and relieve our stress for us. Don't always listen to every voice that comes into your ears. The devil is a deceiver. He's a liar and the author of it. Stay with Jesus! That is where our security is. Remember that!

It is a great way to reflect. It is demonic because when you meditate on the notion of God, you realize how idiotic it is. Meditate on the definition of what you think a God is and the murderous acts that God is depicted as doing in the bible. You will see that those two notions grossly contradict one another. That is why meditation is evil!

Meditation, if done for some motive such as relaxation may not be demonic, just boring and stupid. If you want real meditation, chant the holy names of God (Krishna) and meditate on His form. It is really the last word in religion, spirituality and meditation. Trying to meditate on something void or impersonal just doesn't work. In the final analysis, God is a Person, the supreme and original person.

Being idle...gives way to the adversary to fill your thoughts with strange things. The Bible approves meditation that is from God's words of comfort and honorable things to ponder on and nothing else quite like it. Sleep however is a gift God gives to any workman person because of the days hard labor.
