The thoughts and emotions are NOT ratteling around in our pointed little heads.
I learned this spiritual truth when I was studying Nei Dan Qigong as a 19 year old. I realized that my thoughts and emotions did not just affect me; but they affected the world around me as well.
Learning to direct ch'i with nothing more than a simple thought and influence the world around me (such as influencing the movement of wild animals, or punching a hole in a could three miles away turned my world view upside down and inside out.
In the 32 years since then; I have gone on to receive the title master in eight different disciplines, and learned to take responsibility for my thoughts and emotions.

Well, science still can't track electrical signals within the majority of the brain in real time with perfect resolution, so the point is pretty much mute for the time being. Even then of course, one would have to decode exactly what words, concepts, and ideas are mapped to exactly what part of the brain in that single person as well as what language exactly it is they're speaking in... It isn't like the brain is simply sending signals to itself in morse code, it's a rather complex network.
We have, on the other hand, been able to show consistant specific brain activity associated with parts of speach and language, and art, and various other thoughts people have, just taking it from that level of abstraction is exceedingly difficult.

Yes, chemical and electrical. That being said, yes, thought is a form of matter because chemicals are matter.
They can't be put "on screen" yet because science hasn't totally figured out how those chemical an electrical impulses work. That's why medicines for mental disorders are constantly being changed, upgraded, and discarded.

Yes, the neural activity is composed of electro-chemical excitation of certain neural networks. But thoughts are not tangible. This is a philosophical issue of mind. What good what it do to show the electrical signal on a screen or translate the frequency into sound?

They haven't reached that point yet, but I assure you the brain is simply a bio-electric computer. Thoughts are simply electro-chemical impulses in said computer.

Thought forms matter. Matter is concentrated thought. We are literally forming the world we think we see.
