Peace is fast becoming a myth. For as long as man has been there have been Wars. The key is to promote Peace. Not be against War. The more we think about not wanting something, the more we get of what we don't want. We need to focus on what we want and that is Peace. It's all in what we think. As a collective we are all connected to the Universe. Our thoughts trigger what happens in our Universe. It reacts to thought. If you focus on what you want you get it. If you focus on what you do not want you get what you don't want. It is very tricky. Our thoughts shape the World around us. If the majority is thinking we don't want War; we go to War. If the majority was thinking we want peace we would have Peace. Even if the majority thought we don't want Peace we would have Peace. The thing is. We are all responsible for the way the World is. It is the Law of Attraction. What we dwell upon always comes true. So don't think about what you don't want. Think about what you do want and it will be. I want Peace on Earth. Will it ever happen? As long as there is evil running rampid in the land and Satan is busy, there will always be some chaos going on! But when Satan is cast down into the pit and the Lord creates the New Heaven and the New Earth, there will be 1000 year reign of peace on the Earth with the King (Jesus that is). But don't take my word for it. Pick up the Bible and read it for yourself. And if you don't understand what you are reading, find some one that you trust that you KNOW knows the Bible and get them to explain things to you. Yes, and to some extent we already live in some degree of peace.

However, it is sad to see extreme instances of violence across the world.

Looking at the big picture, people have lived in civilisations for less than 10,000 years. While dinosaurs lived for 100 million years, before another 20 million years of evolution to reach here !

So, if human beings live long enough, we will do away with our war-mongering habits eventually.

While change is imminent, it is also not going to happen overnight. Unfortunately, negative instances in history like psychotic rulers dictating war set us back. But shear trial and error will eventually iron out our societies.

You can make a big difference in the pace to reach global peace.

First step is to study your own impact. Are you learning as much as you can to master some positive role in the society ? Are you contributing as much as you can to offer services that promote peace, humane science and technology, and care for yourself and others ?

Once your deeds pose no harm, then people around you are also polarised and so on.

The fact that you present this desire, means you have potentials to achieve it.

It will happen as long as people like you spread the urge !

I really wish, but from what I have seen from the people of this planet we will never be able to acomplish the complete peace and perfection. There are too many ignorant people living in this world, and even to get rid of them will disturb peace.

no i don't. our world always has some form of conflict somewhere at any time. ten thousand years ago, conflict was also rife. it's something we can never banish from the earth unless every individual were to change to become a good person. right now, that seems rather impossible if you ask me.

Yes, once we recognize that God is the owner and controller of everything, and we should seek to serve Him rather than asking petty favors from Him. It is better to serve than to be served. The soul does not love, the soul IS Love. If we do not recognize this, we will forever be fighting one another in one big ego-war; we fight over everything in this world because we think we are "Lord and Master of all I survey," and each one of us fight over the same things for name and fame. Once we recognize the proprietorship of God over everything, since He created All and all, we will live happily, desiring only our quota as is given by the Lord. "One who acts thus can aspire to live for hundreds of years."
