So i went to this new years sit down dinner/dance thing, and I start dancing with this guy I know, a friend of a friend. It was club/dance music, but we werent grinding up on eachother that much. After a few songs we stopped, he gave me a big hug, and a kiss on a cheek, and we went back to our table. A couple minutes after desert, he gave me a kiss on the cheeck goodbye and casually left with his boys. Oh and he also have me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek about 5 mintues after midnight, while everyone on the dance floor was saying happy new year to eachother.
This is the 2nd time we've danced with eachother at a special occasion, and the same thing happened. Is he being friendly or does this guy kinda dig me? Im not really reading into it to much as anything special, but I'd like to hear other opinions. Thnx

It seems to me that he admires and respects you, but if he's not asking you out, I'm not sure he's interested in you that way. But it's not to say he won't ever be. When a guy respects you, and likes you enough to dance with you, that is a definite "LIKES YOU", so possibly in the future he may ask you out. He may be testing the waters, to get to know you a little better. But the next question is "How much do you like him?" Good luck with finding out!

I think it's fairly obvious that he likes you. There is no etiquette protocol for hugs and kisses following a dance, so he did this of his own accord. He sounds a little shy about going further with it, though. Maybe you don't see him often, but next time you might attempt to nudge it along by spending some time sitting with him after the dances.

I would say that he must like you to do what all you described. I wouldn't kiss someone on the cheek several times if I didn't like them. It sounds like he is being polite and trying not to come on too strong, but at the same time letting you know in little ways. Guys don't always like to come right out and ask for a date. They don't want to get rejected either. If you like him, maybe you should find a subtle way of letting him know you do. Have fun!

He likes you! The reason I know is because I've done the same thing, but I missed my chance with her because I was to shy to ask. You should deffently get him alone and talk.

If he didn't ask for your phone number, he was probably thinking of it as a one-night-stand-type, non-committal fling OR he was too drunk to care who he was dancing with in the first place.

he keeps on kissing you! (even though its just on the cheek) he must like you! and kissing you on the cheek while others were saying happy new year to each other was kinnda obvious... if not... then he really just loves kissing around... hek hek

maybe his personality like what u discribe.....or maybe he adore girl very much.....or maybe ur face like his relative or sister that she loves so much:)
just try to understand him and i am sure later u will know why he ack like that to u :)
