No websites, but I heard you have better chances with local credit unions. You'll be applying for a personal loan... which has the same interest rates as credit cards. I must warn you, they ARE hard to get. A LOT is dependent upon your income. And if you are approved, don't expect a lot either. Expect around $2K to $3K (if you're lucky).

Personally, I would suggest a loan from a family member. Spread the word about wanting monetary wedding gifts and that'll help you pay back your loan in no time.

Sorry, don't know, but have other points. There is no reason in the world to go into debt over a wedding; that's no way to start a marriage. If you two haven't saved enough money, then just have the type of wedding which fits into your budget - no matter how small or different it is from what you planned in your head. What matters is that the two of you get married and are happy.

Don't start your marriage out based on a loan.

Trust me marriages go through enough financial struggle starting out that you don't want to add one more thing to the fire.

Pick out a simple but cute dress, enlist friends who have cake making and/or decorating talents to help you out. Be willing to make some of the table/wedding pieces yourself to save money. As far as pictures go, if someone has a 4+ megapixel camera get them to take pictures during your wedding and have them developed at shutterfly.com or something. Photographers can be expensive.

I just don't think a few hours (wedding/reception) is worth the months of heartache an expensive wedding will cause ya. Your husband will thank you for being a good steward of your money.

If you need to take out a loan for your wedding you are either not financially stable enough to get married OR you are planning a party which is way beyond your means. Save up a bit, cut costs where you can, but don't start your married life together up to your ears in debt. BAD idea.

Don't do that. You would need to give them enough information so that they can steal your identity. There's a lot of bogus companies on the Internet.
