If the guy already has your phone number, he should call in 2-4 days. Any earlier and he's desperate, and later and he's way too busy to care about you. Any phone conversations should be kept short and limited to small talk and mostly to arrange logistics for a date. Save the real talk for when you're face-to-face with him. If you call him, you might seem too forward, and might scare him away. At the most, just leave him a message to call you, if he doesn't respond.

ASAP, if the date went well; as long as you feel to if it was mediocre. If it absolutely sucked, you may be waiting until the war in Iraq is over!!!

oh, dating contact, well, if you like them then call them, don't fret over stupid things like rpotocal, if you don't know it chances are he will not know either and there could be a missed opportunity because of ignorance
just call him and talk, have a good time
