Are there 'home perms' to straighten my hair myself? If so, what products do you reccommend and how exactly does that all work? My hair is annoyingly poofy and looks awesome straightened, but it's a pain in the bootie! :) Lemme know!

Please don't. You may not like the results. See a professional salon for any hair treatments like that. You don't want your hair to fall out.

There are plenty of products on the market that straighten hair. Their called perms, however i do not suggest that you try that yourself if you do not know what you are doing or you will end up bald headed. If you want to get your hair relaxed go to the shop and let someone do it. If you just want to try it yourself make sure you read all the instructions on the package, and you should probably start out with a children's product something like pcj or baby love because children's perms don't have as many harsh chemicals as regular perms. Also try the frizz ease shampoo and conditioner as well as frizz ease serum for hair all these products work great. And have you tried just flat ironing your hair? Well good luck anyway just remember to read all instructions carefully OK....

yes there are but be careful if you have never done it before yourself you may want to see a professional first and get an idea of what you will have to do. Plus it helps if you have a friend there to help who knows what there are doing. As for the product it really depends on the type of hair you have you can go in to a beauty supply store to get some ideas usually there are people there who knows what types of product that are best for the hair. Even try a local beauty school the teachers are there to help the students.

If I were you I wouldnt get a perm because it messes the texture of you hair up. Yea mines the same way but Ive been told to get a relaxer to keep it thick and straightened. You can do this at home or at the hair shop. My advice get it done at the hair shop if you cant find any one who really knows how to out a relaxer in.

If your going to straighten your hair I would recommend redken hair products for shampoo and conditioner. Also a MUST HAVE would be heat protector, keeps the hair from becoming damaged! If I were you I would get a haircut every 3-4 months ( that is if you are going to continue straightening it) goodluck!

Yes They call it a "reverse perm" you use a regular perm solution for your hair type the difference is you comb solution through hair after thoroughly saturating it, comb straight with a large tooth comb and do it periodically while timing the solution to keep it straight, and of course do the same with the neutralizer and that's it!

I do not recommend chemically straitening your hair at all!!!!!!! It will make your hair look like a big fuzz ball. I promise. I do recommend this great product by frizz ease called MIRROR IMAGE it works fast! so you don't have to spend hours straitening it . This is probably the ONLY straitening product that I believe really works!!!

there are "home-kits." i strongly suggest you to buy a "professional retail store" like sally beauty supply, malys, or westcoast... do not buy at walmart, kmart, or any of those places... try asking a professional.
