Water is the best no doubt. I LOVE my diet soda!! 20 some years ago I switched to diet soda due to the calorie intake (150 calories vs. 0). Takes time to adjust to the different taste but once you have regular soda will never be the same! I love indulging myself!

Somewhat, but there's a catch. Caffeine. The thing is, a quick way to losing weight is to keep a very stable blood sugar level. In fact, unstable blood sugar levels are just a fast track to fatness, to put it bluntly.
Seldom known fact is that caffeine will cause unstable blood sugar levels, even without any sugar involved. So while just counting calories, and what not, diet pop isn't going to do much harm, it will somewhat hindur your ability to lose weight in the long run.

True there's no calories, buuut the problem you may end up with is diarrhea. Too much artificial sweetener can mess up a stomach.
As with anything unhealthy, try to limit your intake. Water has zero calories and health benefits, so give that a whirl along with your diet sodas.
Long live Diet Dr. Pepper....the only diet drink I love.

nope- you do not want that amount of phosphorus in your system - it destroys bones
forget the sugar -
try this experiment - take a nail on a string - place half in your small glass of soda - check it in three hours - 6 hours
then throw the soda away when you see what it has done to a nail - and you want that in your body?

NO!!! I have just read Dr. Mercola's book, "Sweet Deceptions" and it tells how horrible diet sugar is for you, how it raises your insulin and tons of other health problems. Check out his website.

Did you know that Aspartaime (artificial sugar) is used in hospitals as a laxative?
I wouldn't drink too much if I were you.
