No. You lose hair at the same rate & it isn't that noticeable when you shower daily. But it is more noticeable when you shower less often. Showering will simply wash out hairs that have become loose & ready to leave our balding heads. Sigh.

Nope! Showering has nothing to do with hair loss.
Your hair loss may have started with a few extra hairs in the sink or in your comb. But now you can't look in the mirror without seeing more of your scalp.
Hair loss can be the result of heredity, certain medications or an underlying medical condition. Anyone — men, women and children — can experience hair loss.
Some people prefer to let their baldness run its course untreated and unhidden. Others may cover it up with hairstyles, makeup, hats or scarves. And still others choose one of the medications and surgical procedures that are available to treat baldness.
Before pursuing any of these treatment options, talk with your doctor about the cause of and best possible treatments for your hair loss.
All the best!

If there is any effect, it seems like more showers would help reduce hair loss slightly, if it helps unclog the follicles.
It seems that hair loss is caused by an inheritable auto-immune condition. Testosterone is converted to DHT which causes a build up of substances that trigger the immune system to kill hair follicles. Drugs such as finasteride and dutasteride are used to block testosterone from converting to DHT. If the hair follicles are not already damaged or filled with scar tissue, then such drugs should help. You have to catch it early enough to get maximum results.
