What about the other half of all illegal immigrants?

According to 'Pew Hispanic Center' Study, half of all illegal immigrants in America come from Mexico. Citzen groups are banding together to address this, demanding action from the Government such as the creation of a fence that runs the length of the U.S.- Mexican border. What demands are being made to address the 11 million non-Mexican illegals that already reside in the U.S., and those who continue to come into the U.S.? I've heard virtually nothing on the media about any strong response to non-Mexican illegals.

The other half flies into international airports, generally enters the US legally and then over-stays their visas. This population includes students, professionals and family members from around the world. They generally have friends or family members in the US, who assist them with shelter and finding work.

An international student who works off campus is 'illegal', as is a vacationer who works or gets married, or a professional who hasn't gotten around to renewing their working visa yet.

Fun Fact: Some years ago it was discovered that there were more 'illegal' Irishmen in San Francisco than any other group.

The present hubub nationally is really about White Power racism, not rational immigration policy.

First of all, all the studies that I have heard or read have stated that it was well over half of the illegal immigrants in American were from Mexico. But of course, what other result would you get from a group that is set up to defend the illegal Mexicans in the U.S.?

Second, which I'm sure since the study you mentioned is defending the illegal Mexicans in our country, I bet they did not mention that almost 90% of the illegals in this country have come through the Mexican-American border.

That is the reason for the fence. It is the easiest place for anyone wanting access to this country.

The Pew center is the source of many lies. This is another one. 60% of illegal aliens are Mexican. Another 30% are of Latin American origin. The Pew center is a Hispanic hate group that has an open border agenda and lies about just about everything. They make up their own numbers and the media publishes them like there is no other source. Another lie is that the economy will collapse without the 15 billion dollar drain of taxpayer money they steal. Another lie is that they all do the jobs we won't do. We have 20,000,000 unwanted jobs? Another lie they say is that these are all loving kind hardworking people. The illegal aliens include drug smuggling, murder, rape, robbery and other crimes with their hard working invasion. Another lie is that America stole their land. I could go on and on.

You may have missed the point here. This has nothing to do with Hispanics really. These people are illegals. PEW and that group are pro Latin groups. They threaten and so on and that is why many Americans are concerned. We are not going to allow illegal anything to destroy our nation ...willingly. It may happen but not easily or without diescord.
It would be far better to let the law take care of the problems we have. We all will be watching.

I would also like to add, that I saw very few if any of other illegal immigrants in the "March" that went on this last year. That was a horrific mistake for the Latin community. Too much raza in that blood for most AMericans. The Latin push is a major problem and if you all are smart, you'll let it die and let the process do as it does up here in the US of A. Otherwise you are going to loose. You have already lost a great deal from what I can tell.
8 out of every 10 illegals is a Mexican as I have heard/read it. That's simply too many and unfair to all others. like the ones waiting in line to be here LEGALLY. Another interestin stat is that America let's in 50% of it's Legal immigrant population ..as MEXICANs. Isn't that enough for your all?
This bad act/bad press stuff from the pro Latin groups is going to come back and bite you all in your bupkiss. Latins are great people. NO greater than anyone else though. Why should more of you folks come in here than others?
Truly, the Latins have blown it for themselves ..yet another reason from my own perspective to be concerned.
We will and are evicing ALL illegals, you can count on it. That's where those numbers I started with came from. 2 from all over ther res of the world and 8 ...from Mexico.

Could you give us a link? I'm pretty sure the Pew study said it was more than half of the illegals who came from Mexico (more than from all of the other countries put together.)

However, I am against illegal immigration by everyone. This board and the newspapers are full of people saying they are against illegal immigration - not just illegal immigration by Mexicans. Why do you apply that only to Mexicans?

I get what you mean. I know that they have new Bills out there that make life difficult for all illegal immigrans and actual citizens who don't have IDs. However, our building of a fence is very racist. If you think about it, the media always refers to illegals as mexican and completely ignores the fact that there are other illegals out there. But basically, nothing is really being done for other immigrants besides the standard paper check then busting. It's unfair, but it's the way our country votes to be run. Personally, I think something should be done about the racism of Mexicans and people of all countries south of mexico that also rely on the mexican border for crossing. If your attacking immigration, attack it wholly, not just one group!

Unfortunatelly our immigration has a racist selective polacy. The other non Mexicans illegals are usually white eastern europeans & Asians such as Indians make the largest part. Whites from eastern europe are needed to insert the white rule dominance & insure its majority in the country, while Asians are needed cuz they are highly educated , especially in the Tec industry(Silicon Vally is 60% Indian dominated) & medical fields.
