Miracles and Magick?

What is the difference between miracles and magick? Aren't miracles and magick basically the same thing?

In practice, the only difference is that miracles usually happen ONLY to pious Christians ( or are performed by them), whereas magick is open to be studied, practiced, and performed by anyone. As a pagan, I know that every religion's "magick" comes from the same place. In short, the difference between magick and miracles rests in etymological differences, and the willful separation of the two concepts by christians who refuse to have their religion associated with "any of that Satanic occult stuff".

Magick and Miracles are one in the same, in all but that the people who believe in magick believe that they are more interactive with it than others.

It's just like who praying and spellwork is the same. Both groups are focusing on energy and hoping for a result.

Basically they are exactly the same thing, it's just that credit goes to diferent entities. Miracles go to the deity of choice (or more often, preacher), while Magick's credit goes to the caster. In the end the boil down to the same thing: The application of will upon reality with the intent of causing a change.

Not any more than the miracles that Moses worked through God and the magick that the court magicians of the Egyptian Pharoah performed were the same. Magick is the imitation of God's miracles by the evil one. However even the evil one cannot give sight to the blind or resurrect the dead. He can do only limited things to seduce the power-seeker and even in those God's power is exceedingly greater. Read the story in Exodus. Compare what some in the East hypothesize about Jesus learning "Reiki" or some healing art with what Jesus actually worked, which was far far greater and unexplainable.

TO DREAD. WE STOOD IN FRONT OF A BIG WHITE GATE. IT OPENED SLOWLY AS WE STOOD IN WAIT.
MANY CLOUDS BILLOWED AND SWIRLED ABOUT US AS I STOOD IN AWE OF THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS THAT
SURROUNDED US. WHAT I SAW WORDS COULD NOT EXPRESS, I WANTED TO STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL ADDRESS.
THE ANGELS ALLOWED ME TO LOOK INSIDE, THE BEAUTY THE MAJESTY, MADE ME CRY.
"IT'S TRUE, IT'S ALL TRUE, I KNOW THAT IT'S TRUE" I HEARD MYSELF CRY, AS TEARS RAN STREAMING
FROM MY EYES.
I KNEW WHAT I SAW WAS NOT OF THIS EARTH,THIS CREATION WAS FOR THOSE OF THE NEW BIRTH. THE
POWER, THE BEAUTY, THE SIGHT OF IT ALL WAS SO STRONG,THAT THE ANGELS SHUT THE GATES QUICKLY

YOU HAVE BEEN.YOU MUST TELL OTHERS ABOUT THIS DREAM. THAT GOD'S WORD IS TRUE. IT'S THE REAL THING.
GOD HAS LET YOU SEE WHAT IS YOUR REWARD IF YOU WORSHIP, LOVE HIM, AND KEEP HIS WORD."
WE ALL NEED TO REALIZE THAT IT'S REALLY TRUE. WE NEED TO GET THE LOST ONES IN IF IT'S ALL THAT WE
DO. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME, THE END IS NEAR, AND YES, IF YOU ARE LOST YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO FEAR.
CALL ON JESUS NOW, SO YOU CAN GO TO AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I SAW AND YOU'LL BE EXCITED TOO.
I'LL SOON BE IN MY NEW HOME,PASS THE BIG WHITE GATES. DON'T YOU WANT TO GO THERE TOO? I JUST CAN'T

I REALLY DREAMED THIS DREAM JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN. I FEEL IT WAS INSPIRED BY GOD AND HE GUIDED MY
THOUGHTS AND MY HAND IN PUTTING THIS TOGETHER.

I AM GIVING THIS TO YOU BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND GOD HAS DIRECTED ME TO DO SO.
I HOPE THIS MESSAGE WILL HELP YOU TO MAKE THE BIGGEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE
