Reproduction is the biological process by which new individual organisms are produced. Each individual organism exists as the result of reproduction. There are two main types: sexual and asexual.
In asexual reproduction, an individual can reproduce without involvement with another individual of that species (division of a bacterial cell into two daughter cells). Asexual reproduction is not, however, limited to single-celled organisms. Most plants have the ability to reproduce asexually.
Sexual reproduction requires the involvement of two individuals, typically one of each sex. Normal human reproduction is a common example of sexual reproduction. Generally more-complex organisms reproduce sexually while simpler, usually unicellular, organisms reproduce asexually.
Reproduction relates to survival and continual existence. The fittest will survive and the weak will become extinct.
These two main strategies
a) K-selection (few offspring) and
b) r-selection (many offspring).
Animals with few offspring can devote more resources to the nurturing and protection of each individual offspring, thus
reducing the need for a large number of offspring. On the other hand, animals with many offspring may devote less resources to each individual offspring; for these types of animals it is common for a large number of offspring to die soon after birth, but normally enough individuals survive to maintain the population.
For example, a rabbit (mature after 8 months) can produce 10–30 offspring per year, and a fruit fly (mature after 10–14 days) can produce up to 900 offspring per year.
Which strategy is favored by evolution depends on a variety of circumstances.
Best wishes

Reproduction is the process of producing offspring. It could be asexual (no partner needed) or sexual (partner needed). It is done so that there will be a continuous production of species. And to avoid extinction! sometimes, it is done only for pleasure...which is not really the main purpose of reproduction

If you love someone dearly and have a great appreaction for them being in your life..the last thing you would think of is seperating unless they made you incredibly sad and dissapointed. Marriage has always been a tradition and the bible is not the place to find or get suggestions over marriage. I do not think either are better than one another but only your opinion and the lifestyle you choose to take is up to you but don't try to bring others down for the decisions they choose to make. I don't see a need to have a boyfriend or get married but a want.

The production of offspring or new individuals through a sexual or asexual process.
If we didnt have reproduction than humans would probably be extinct by now. You and I wouldnt exist. So to avoid this we have to reproduce.
...Just curious but how old are you??

It is the process by which the living organisms tries to multiply their number.
By this process the individual tries to keep their identity in the living world.
