please suggest some versions as I have no idea what is available on the market

There are several forms of 'mood-stabilizers', but they all work in different ways. Some prevent the decomposition of neurotransmitters (such as MAIOs) and other work to stabilize deficiencies (such as lithium).

Bottom line, don't try to be your own doctor. Trust your doctor to work with you to make a decision. If (s)he prescribes something that isn't working properly, or is having severe side-effects, then bring this to his/hers attention. However, don't think that some website or worse, advertisement is better.
