Ok so my mother has a friend that she has known since they were in high school, and recently we have been going over their house visiting their family. My mother friend has this son that i really, really like. we have been to their house 4 time. the 1st time he stayed in his room, the 2nd and 3rd time we actually talked to each other, but this last time he stayed in his room again. another thing is that his parents are always around, so we never get any talking time alone.
I want to tell him that i like him but i dont know how to get the chance to tell him since he is either always in his room, our parents are always around, and he is not on myspace or facebook or anything like that. What should I do? Help me please.

Ok here are some things that adds to this Dilemma. His mother is kind of over protective and i dont want to just ask him any questions that might hint that i like him in front of his mother, because i dont know how his mother will take it. Also My mother already knows that i like him.

i dont know if i would. I had the same situation when I was groing up. The problem is that once he knows you like him everyone will know. Your parents will know and everything. This could hurt the friendship between the family if he doesnt like you

Find out for sure if he is in his computer in his room and find out what sites he goes to and perhaps you can see him there. You might even be able to ask your mother to slip a clue to his mother that you are interested and she may be able to help you a bit since the two mothers are friends and his mother probably would not have any objections at all to the two of you doing something together and might encourage him to come out and talk to you.

Baby darling,
If you wanna know my advice, here are 2 things I wouldn't do:
1. tell him directly that I like him, wanna go out, write a note, etc.
2. tell to my mom - because many times parents want to help, but they only hurt.
And here is what you could do:
First find out his age, interests, what does he study in school, music (here you mother could help, but watch out ....:)). After that, try to discover what you have in common.
And next time you go at his place, ask him if maybe he has...I don't know...the latest CD of....or a project that might help for school, or any idea where is located....or just tell them u have some young friends (from other country) who would like to come in visit and ask him where would he take them....Just be natural and smile! :)
Another idea is to organize a party and to invite him also....
Anyway, don't give up, he may be "the one". :)

Ask your mom to invite her friend with her family to visit you in your place and when they do visit your place, stay at your own room....

the next time you go to their house go to his room and ask him if he wants to hang out sometime outside of the house.

well i think you should convince him to go for a walk or something and then tell him how you feel or you could tell him why he is in his room
