I have a wisdom tooth that needs pulled. I can't get into the dentist for another 2 days. I have been unable to sleep for the last 3 nights because when I lay down, every tooth top and bottom from the front tooth back really hurts, including my jaw. I have been taking LOTS of excedrin, and using massive amounts of origel. Only seems to help for maybe an hour. I am in need of relief! (the tooth is broken)

You need to STOP taking the Excedrin if it contains any aspirin. You can cause bad bleeding when you go in to have the tooth pulled. Also, STOP taking massive amounts, you CAN overdose on it or permanently damage your liver.
Next, take a hand towel & get it wet with HOT water, as hot as you can safely stand it. Wring it out & place the hot towel on your jaw on the side with the bad tooth. Do this until the towel is cool & do it every few hours. If you need to take meds, even over the counter, DO NOT take more than the dosage recommended & do NOT take them more often than the instructions on the box. Be sure to stop taking the excedrin though if it does contain aspirin.
I had a lot of trouble with my two lower wisdom teeth & ended up having to have them both surgically removed when I was just out of high school.

A cold compress can also help. Bag of frozen veggies will work if you don't have one. Also try sinus medication. Sometimes that can bring relief since your sinuses come down over the roots of your upper teeth.

blood flow makes it hurt worse. My prayers are with you I've had that same situation and I thought I would die. IF the pain gets to be too much go to an emergency room, they have dentists on call.

You need emergency dentistry, when you lie down, your blood pressure increases in your head, causing more pain (Been there). Try sleeping sitting up, I know what you mean, that ORAGEL tastes nasty after a while, get to the dentist (actually you need an oral surgeon, the dentist will recommend one).

I would think because the blood can flow up to your head a little bit easier when you are lying down. Try sleeping with your head propped up a bit.

Blood flow to the affected area makes the pain worse. Try propping yourself up in bed, maybe that will help.
