Well, a lot of that depends on how you're built, but in general, you are overweight.
Be careful though--you are very young, and you're a guy. Who knows how much taller you're going to get? You are still growing, and you need a lot of nutrients. So, I wouldn't go on any diets. Did you hear me? NO DIETS! You need to start some good eating habits that will help you slim down slowly and keep the weight off. Try the following, and BE PATIENT! You might not see much difference for a year or so, but if you do these things, you will be successful over the long term:
1) Drink water. You need 8 8oz glasses of water a day or more. It helps your body flush toxins and keeps your skin healthy. Also, a lot of times when you think you're hungry, you're actually thirsty.
2) Drink skim milk. It's low-fat, high protein, and has lots of calcium, which you need for growing bones.
3) Do eat breakfast. If you like cereal, try switching whole-grain cereals for cereals with sugar. Try oatmeal with raisins.
4) Limit fast food to once or twice a month. Limit sodas and sugary drinks to a couple times a week.
5) If you like candy, make yourself stop after one piece.
6) Eat some fresh, raw fruits and vegetables with every meal. Try olive oil and vinegar with a little sugar whisked in for dressing when you eat a salad. Since you're a guy, you need lots of protein, more than a girl, but try to make the protein healthy.
7) Pay attention while you're eating. Stop eating when you are no longer hungry, not when your plate is empty. If there's a rule in your house that you have to eat everything on your plate, practice taking small portions. You can always take another serving if you're still hungry.
8) Join a sport of some kind. Try to break a sweat every day. If someplace you are going is less than a mile away, walk there instead of asking for a ride if at all possible. Ride your bike as much as you can, as long as weather permits. You're a little too young to start lifting weights, but do calesthenics each day--push ups, situps, pullups, jumping jacks, that kind of stuff.
If you give this stuff a shot, combined with the fact that you're probably going to grow a lot over the next year, you may find that you actually need to eat MORE because your growth demands it.
Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about it,if you are a little overweight at 14.You have alot of time to grow.
Here is an example:
One of my best friends since first grade(his name is Bob Bell) was a little overweight, others would tease, girls wouldn't talk to him. On summer break between seventh and eighth grade he had a growth spurt(most kids do around that age) went back as a freshmen one of the tallest, and suddenly the guys who picked on him wanted to be his friend because he was getting any girl he wanted. He tought himself to sing, joined a few rock bands, toured the country, shared the stage with some of the biggest bands from the 80's,90's and now.Now he is married to a beautiful woman. Thought he,himself has yet to make the bigtime he will tell anyone, and i quote"what a ride it's been and still is".The band he toured the most with was Rags from St.Louis,Missouri/Minnasota.Now he plays/sings locally and still rocks.

You'r young,so get it off your and go have fun,eat healthy and if you want then jog a little.Remember to start small then add distance. It's good for your heart also.
Good luck to you

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Your a little short for 150. Im 5'10 and 175 but im in shape and i work out. So if you workout no thats ok, but if you dont then yes a little. Get into sports man, trust the way they push you, you'll lose it real fast. Play baseball football or basketball. Even if you dont make a team just do it for fin its great and youl get in shape. Actually if theres a boxing gym around you, you should considerd joining it its a great workout and you learn to fight. Good Luck.

5"1 at 150...? I'd say you were over weight. Obesity is rapidly growing among our young people. No. 1 cause...over eating, lack of exercise, fast foods, lack of control, poor eating habits at home...watch what you are eating (being aware all the time helps a lot), drink lots of water and avoid soda pop, walk the mall or park, eat only at scheduled times to avoid over eating, don't snack, plenty of sleep at night, common sense things will get you off to a great start! Good Luck.

Walking...walk for 30 mins a day and drink 2 litres of water, and your weight will dramatically lessen and you will look and feel much better.
Best part is that this exercise costs nothing...just walk...OUTDOORS....not in a gym
