Hi there...hematura (blood in urine) and frequency of urination indicates that your cat has a lower urinary tract disorder/infection. Please consider ringing the vet in the morning to have her evaluated and respectively treated.

More details about Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder/Infection (FLUTD):

This sounds like cytisis...

By definition cystitis is inflammation of the urinary bladder. Many cat owners erroneously confuse this with being a "bladder infection". There may be other factors which influence the formation of bladder disease including drug therapy, diabetes, which causes excess sugar to be in the urine, reproductive tract infections, bladder stones, the formation of crystals in the urine which can irritate the bladder wall, feline urologic syndrome and traumatic damage to the bladder can all lead to cystitis.

Infections of the bladder most commonly ascend there, meaning literally, they crawl up from outside. Female cats more commonly experience this condition as the infection has a shorter distance to travel. Infections can also make their way to the bladder through the blood, from the kidneys, through the lymphatic system and by extension from other nearby infections.

Clinical signs include having to void frequently, straining to urinate, pain when urinating, blood in the urine, foul or unusual odor of the urine and sometimes an increased thirst. Diagnosis is based on these symptoms, physical examination, urinalysis, urine culture, blood counts, organ function tests, X-rays and sometimes biopsies. Most acute or one-time cases can be easily diagnosed while recurrent and chronic cases of cystitis require a more involved diagnostic work-up.

So.. basically, after all of that, I'm saying.. go to the vet and have a urinalysis done. It's not going to be cheap, but it needs to be done, because this could be a very serious condition.

She obviously has a urinary tract problem. If she is young to middle age, probably it is an infection. If she is old then kidney or bladder cancer is possible.
Another possibility is that she is menstruating and you are misinterpreting it as "peeing blood".
A trip to the vet is mandatory. She may be suffering now.

I suggest you take the cat to a vet. Urinary problems are common in cats. You don't mention the cat's age or your attachment. These are questions your vet will ask; answers will be available: treatment or put-down.

Find an emergency vet NOW! It could be as simple as a bladder infection, but it could be much, much worse. Don't take a chance by waiting on your regular vet, please.

Best of luck.

I would say she has a bladder infection or a blockage. Try some Clavamox for a few days.

Like someone said earlier. It's probably a kidney problem.
