My dictionary says biomass is an amount of living matter. Today we think of it as materials like wood chips, corn stalks and the like.

Sunflower oil is extracted from sunflowers, so I would call it biomass already.

I don't know what you want to do with biomass, but if it is to generate power, why not burn the sunflowers, rather than go to the trouble of extracting the oil? The fibers left over are burnable too.
