Doing lots of push ups can build up your chest muscles along with a good diet & proper water intake. The three go hand in hand. No exercise will reduce the size of an area alone. But if you have a good exercise regime, with healthy eating your chest fat will reduce & you can build muscle. However, it takes time and dedication you won't see it happen overnight.
