Where and how can I go about setting up an animal shelter in China/Singapore?

Clueless on funding, application (permit in line with local regulation); I am totally intrigued after reading Cesar Millan's book and would like to be running a similar centre for dogs.

The first thing you need to do is to check with AVA on what is their guidelines for setting up animals shelters in S'pore. The next thing is what will the animals shelters to be located, is there a need to renovate the place, etc. Once you have sort all these out, then you can start setting the animal shelter in Spore

You can always check out the PETA website or other animal rights web sites. They probably know all about how to go about setting up a shelter and they may even help you and give you funding.

Try petvilla. Volunteer your services and lean the ropes from them.
Alternatively, you can rent a small house to stay in Pulau Ubin. I am always treating animals for injuries there.
