Has anyone ever gotten it done in an office? I live in the Los Angeles/Orange County area and there's so many places that do microdermabrasion...I just don't know which one to go to or to trust. Thanks!

It does nothing for your skin...I got it done. What a waste of money!

I have had the treatment done and it did make a difference. You can basically get an Aesthetician's version of Microdermabrasion or the Medical grade Microdermabrasion. You can also incorporate the procedure with various peels to get more dramatic results. Be sure that you get the treatment variety that is right for you. Home treatments don't do a whole lot...but if you get a medical variety, you will want to make sure the practitioner is experienced.

The attached link has a list of providers. They also rank the providers according to surveys provided by previous clients of the clinic.

Good luck.

I don't know about your area, sorry. I got it done at a dermatologists office in TX. Was not impressed with the results and it cost me $75! So, I bought the Mary Kay microdermabrasion kit for $55. I actually saw results right away, and my skin kept getting better every time I used it. I had to replace the set after 9 months. Used it 3 days a week! Much better deal and no appointments to make!

I would find a licensed dermatologist, normally they do these procedures in office or can recommend somone for you.
