If you are closer to your mom, or dad, just take a moment to talk to him/her. You should be able to talk to your parents about anything. They should be aware of this and be responsible enough to make sure it does not happen again. I know it's awkward, but like you said, it is life, and they love each other. They should love and respect you too, however, and be a little more careful next time.

Tell them they need to buy you an iPod and then tell them why. Put the earphones in and turn the music up loud next time. Other than that -- good for them. Still going strong. Just hope when you are their age, you have that good of a relationship with your mate. Whoopie!!

oh heck...yes sugar sounds like your parents still love to be intimate and yes it is pretty normal..BUT you do share the house with them...you can try turning some music on REALLY loud in your room that may give them a hint...OR you can actually try talking to them...just drop it at brekky time...Mum,Dad would it be ok if you had quiet sex please as it bothers me?...ok they are likely to throw that back at you with all the well we pay all the bills etc and its OUR house but also just maybe they hadnt realised just how noisy they were and a heads up is all they need...
so how old are you and when are you likely to be moving out?...Your Mum and Dad deserve their fun moments and it was 2am in the morning at least not 6.30pm say;)

so many people catch their parents messing around, or hear them.
its normal, your right, you dont want to hear that because its your parents and its weird. you might feel awkward around them for a little while, but it will pass. there is nothing you can do really other than accepting it. they have probably had sex while you were home plenty of times, you were just lucky enough not to hear it, this time, you did. you wont feel weird for long, it will pass

Oh jeez, that never gets any easier...just put on your headphones and blare the music! That's what I used to do! Or I would turn on music and tv in my room and they would sorta get the hint!

they would probably be very embaressed if they found out that you'd heard them. they probably waited til 2am so as not to disturb you.
try getting some early nights.

be happy they are not fighting..our 17 year old son told me he thought I ought to know the bed squeaked..I assured him I had trouble sleeping, and besides I didn't do things like that.."sure mom you only did it twice and you were taken advantage of both times"..needless to say we bought a new bed, quickly..

I remember that feeling. Squeaky bedsprings is what my parents had. Makes you feel sick!
Turn up the music!
