He doesn't really know who I am and I've never talked to him but I've liked him for two years. It seems like we have stuff in common (we're both shy and don't have many friends) so what do I do? I'm extremly shy!

You're shy because you''re too focused on yourself. Think about other things instead of yourself. At this rate life is going to pass you by. You only get one chance at things most of the time so you better take it. Just ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. Then if he says yes and you're with him, ask him things about himself. Tell him you're shy and get nervous sometimes.

Been there and done that! Once loved my crush from kindergarten to 9th grade. He never knew I existed. I watched him from afar and loved him so much I thought I would die. In 8th grade he became very popular and one of my best friends started going out with him. I never told anyone that I was crazy for him, wish I would have told him. You have to do something to get closer to him. Find the stuff you have in common with him and make an effort to have him notice you. I never did and now that I can look back on it, I should have attempted to get closer and make him notice me. You have to put yourself out there, even if you slip him a note saying that you want to study with him or have lunch and a movie. Don't let it pass you by...take a chance. I wish you all the luck in the world.

If the 2 of you don't have a lot of friends, become his friend by talking to him. Said hi, would you keep me company and a lot of thing that you can come up with. In everything you do, you have to talk to him or you'll loose him

first find out something you do have in commons besides being shy like a book or somthing simple like that, then talk to him about that and eventualy you will warm up to one another then you can start to talk about other than just books and begin to have somthing else in common like not being shy to one another.

dont be shy about it talk to him or walk by him and drop something like a book next to him and you say thanks then ask him for his name talk to him then when the time is right tell him if he want to go out and then on the date tell him how you feel about him
