At the end of the day, it all depends on this fact. if you're an individual who thrives from a stable mutual loving atmosphere between two people like my self then, you will choose that someone who reciprocates your love back and never brings you dark cloud.

It depends on what kind of cry, do you cry because they hurt you or do you cry because you love them so much. If you cry because they hurt you i would pick the one that makes me laugh, but if i cry because i love them so much, then i would pick the one that makes me cry.
