METHOD #1
HAIRSPRAY - best for fanning, doesnt last long
easiest, cheapest, and looks the best!
Back comb your hair or hawk untill its a massive fro.
Hairspray the **** out of it and blowdry.
You should get awesome results for fanning, and chaos spiking, or whatever you kids do these days.

METHOD #2
KNOX - best for spiking, lasts forever

PREP:
- Boil some Water
- Empty Desired amount of knox into small cup or bowl
- usually one pack is fine, unless your doing a whole head
- ****Add half the givin amount (***on the package***) of boiling water.
- stir and let water disolve knox - if it smells really bad, (LIKE DIRTYWET DOG, or your mom) its right!

- While Knox is hot, take first section of hair, and add knox onto base with fingers
- massage through hair and work knox upwards to the end
- hold in place pulling snug by the top or the spike, and blowdry base, and rest of spike
- let go after approx. 5 seconds and blowdry tip
- Continue throughout the mohawk, when finished, hairspray to reinforce hawk

WASH OUT:
- Washing out is EASY
- run hot water over your head or soak it untill the knox starts to break down
- DONT SHAMPOO
- wait untill all the knox is out that you know of, and hair is smooth
- You can then continue to shampoo hair if desired, but make sure you condition - it totally dies your hair

NOTES ON KNOX:
- Work fast, Knox Typically starts to dry fast
- Knox works best when runny
- If the knox starts to get "snotty" like, put it in the microwave for 5 seconds, NO MORE
- When washing off hands, just run hands under hot/warm water, dont use soap
- Knox is cheap, fast, and easy to use
- When knox is in hair, it is flexible, and makes living easy
- it will typically stay in untill you wash it out
- You cant knox on knox, use hairspray for touch-ups

Everyones hair is different, so try it out and see what works best for you.
There are other methods - soap, egg, glue, viagra..... - these are just some suggestions.

a million, specific thats a sturdy theory (: ah mohawks are super lol and a couple of,it relies upon what coloration ... not something like fairly vivid .. properly until thats what your going for then why not (: purely go with your instinct on the time ... in case you dont like it you could consistently dye it lower back

use a paste or a wax instead of gel. its remoldable and not stiff like gel but it stays put. you could also try hair grease (found in the ethnic sections) if u dont have blonde hair, as it usually comes in weird colors like green or blue
