The GRE is a Graduate Record Examination. You take this test if you want to go to graduate school. I think you're asking about the English and Computer Science disciplines and the tests offered in those subjects, but there's also a General version of this test.
Ultimately, you should check with the school you plan to attend, to see what tests they want you to take. In the meantime, I'm providing a link, below.

gre is composed of eng aptitude and writing ,
to get in ms u also need to take gre subject test in comp if u want to get in top 20 colleges,
if u donot aim to get in top 20 then u can give general gre that has basic maths and english as the subjects and is a general aptitude exam.
