Age gap is meaningless. I'm 10 years older than my girlfriend, my sister is 12 years younger than her husband. But since your girlfriend is under 18, there may be legal problems, depending on where you live. But if it's legal for you to date a 17 year old, then there's nothing wrong with the age gap.

It is her age that makes the gap count. At that age you are not mature enough for a relationship with a 25 year old. She is too young for you, either you would regret it or she would and do you know how her parents feel? My advice is it will only cause you trouble in ne way or another.

Yes it is too big, both legally (some states) and where you both are emotionally. Unless you act like like you are under 20, then it's okay. I have yet to meet a 17 year old who is truly on the same page as a 25 year old, although some come close.

I don't think much of the numbers as I do the maturity of the two people. If you are both on the same 'mature' level, after she is 18, I would say go for it.

In my honest opinion, Love has no boundries. As long as you both are comfortable with each other, and can accept each other's quirks and emotions, then all should go well. But, you leave that choice up to yourself.
