Sure. Stress affects the digestive system, making it less efficent. The body isn't built to maintain stress for long periods of time. After all, in a brief stressful situation, do you really want to devote energy to digesting lunch? Some people can gain weight from stress, and some can loose it. Try yoga, or do something relaxing. If the problem persists, go to a doctor. Sudden weight loss can be an indicator for all sorts of nasty problems, but it's usually something simple- like stress.

Yes, it's very possible!
Unfortunately I stay very stressed out at all times, and it's the opposite for me. I don't eat much at all, perhaps a whole meal divided in several times a day, can't sleep or get any rest, and still gain weight. Something I think I gain weight just because I'm breathing.... :o(

I don't think that stress will cause weight loss directly. Indirectly it can cause you to have a decreased appetite which then will cause you to lose weight. I would be happy to donate the ten pounds and even more if you need it. (wish it could work like that). Stella got her groove back so maybe they will make a movie called "How Peach Pie Got Her Booty Back"

Yes. Stress affects different people in different ways. Some react by overeating, which causes weight gain. Other react by under-eating, which causes weight loss.
