Some questions really are better answered by a human. The best search engine in the world can't tell you why your knitting is suddenly growing sideways or what to expect on your first day of high school. Other questions, yes, would be much better answered by using a search engine. People often ask those here for much the same reason that you did not look this question up in the archives here. Believe me, it's there. Lots. Maybe you don't know how to use the archives. (Type your question in the box by the Search Y!Answers button, in case you really don't know.) Some folks don't know how to use a search engine. Maybe you thought you'd get a better answer from a real human. Maybe you thought something already printed there would be too old to be relevant. Maybe you were just lazy and didn't want to bother looking it up. Maybe you wanted human interaction. Maybe it just plain didn't occur to you to use the archives. Too bad. It could have saved you 5 points. Like a search engine, the archives are free. Whatever your reason, please don't complain about other users doing exactly what you did: asking a new question instead of looking it up.

i am sure he knows and i am sure he doesn't care. why would he? asking questions (stupid or otherwise) is just that. But if your worried about it maybe turn off the PC and do something constructive?
