I am not Wiccan; but as a kahuna; I would not sell the jewelry (if I wanted to keep it). No matter whether I kept the jewelry or sold it; I would cleanse the items of the spells attached to them.

Shouldn't this depend on the nature/sentimental value of the jewelry?... I don't see why the spells should matter, unless you find them personally very useful, but were that the case you likely wouldn't think of selling them to begin with.

I would never sell a family heirloom wheter or not it had a curse or not. But for the questions sakes lets just say it did; would selling the item break the curse? Probably not, and further, would you want to give this curse to some other innocent family anyway. And maybe if you did try to alter the curse in some way it might be affected and give you back something worse. Something to consider. Im not a believer in witchcraft but if it did exist, I wouldnt want to fool with it, I would make sure that selling it was the only way to break the curse, thats for sure.

Regardless of any spells, I would not sell any jewelry that has been in my family for hundreds of years. This is simply because of sentimental value.... somethings are worth more than money.

No, I wouldn't sell them.
They have Family History.
If I felt they were harmful spells, I'd cleanse and clear the pieces of any negativity.
If not, why sell them? The monetary value cannot compare to the price of family history.

No....I would try to remove the energies put into them....ground them....and keep them....if you sell them..you are giving away a part of yourself/ your family....and the "buyer" can use this against you....that's my take, anyways...

If it bothers you so much find a wiccan and ask her or him to place a protection spell around you.

If I had any type of family heirloom that was that old, I would hold onto it.
