Where is somewhere you can get a free or cheap debit card?

There is no such thing as a FREE debit card. Somewhere in the fine print they will end up owning you. Build your credit up so you can get a legitimate card. Store cards, payment histories... ALWAYS, ALWAYS choose the disability/ unemployment insurance. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and end up sleeping in a refrigerator box- with no Yahoo...

Many banks (even local and credit unions, if you don't want to deal with the big guys) have no-fee debit cards available with a checking or savings account. Shop around, any bank should be able to provide you with a brochure showing their account types, fees, services, etc. Take them home, look over them, and pick what works best for you.
