Ok, I used to have sleek anD shiny hair, then when I started to dye it and straghten it with an iron, it got bad....I dyed it to my natural hair color, and I'm not blow drying or using any irons any more because my hair is DRY, and looks nappy, every time i wash it which is every other day I let it airdry and then I put on some shine serum to make it look sleeker and shinier, I'm also trying to take vitamins because it's falling out...What do I do? I'm 18, can it be damaged permanantly or it can be repaired? I'M DEPRESSED

Go to a salon and have them do a deep conditioning and this will help to repair your hair, and they can suggest a conditioner that will help along with a shampoo.
I had damaged hair and I went and got my hair deep conditioned and it helped and I also use tres'eme shampoo and for my conditioner I use infusium and every week I do a vo5 hot oil treatment and It really works.

Okay, keep taking multi vitamins and drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday... at night put a heavy conditioner in your hair and rinse it when you wash your hair, don't wash your hair to much because it washes out all ur natural oils and causes hair to get dry, damaged, fall out, etc... wash hair every other day or only 2-3 times a week, until it gets healthy... also try pantene restore hair mask, shampoo, conditioner, that works, plus keep getting ur hair trimmed every month so you wont have all that damaged hair, this all works, I had the same problem before.

Also do some deep hair treatment to your hair every week, it helps to replenish the nutrients and moisture in the hair. Let the masks sit for more than 2 hours (instead of 15/30mins mentioned in the instruction) before washing off, it helps a great deal over a few weeks. what you should do is to deep condition your hair ecery week or two and do not expose it to tooo much heat.

try and buy a shea butter conditioner,
put it all over your hair and put a plastic shower cap on and let it sit for a while. maybe a half hour. i heard that is one of the best things you can do.

use mild shampoo so you don't dry out your hair too much.

pat your hair dry and then let it air dry.

You definitely need a very strong conditioner to help you fix your hair. Go to Sally's Beauty supply and look for conditioner or oil to wrap your hair in and let those oil soaked into your hair for about 15 minutes.. rinse it out. Do it about 5 times in a month.. your hair should be better.

This happened to me too. I have dark brown hair that was never died and beautiful... then I bleached it a few months ago. If you use a deep conditioner (the dark blue dove one is pretty cheap and works well) then it should get better over time.

I dyed my hair alot recently and it turned to straw! I tried intensive conditioners, a healthier diet, serums... it didn't work. In the end i just got fed up of it and got my hair cut short.
I love my hair now, it's in good condition and it's really funky.
All you can really do is get your hair cut. If you don't then it will just get worse. Don't be afriad to go short tho, it will grow back, and quicker than you think.
Good luck!

olive oil and honey. mix half and half, heat it up and put it on your head under a towel for like an hour before bed, once a week.

wash your hair with shampoo every three days

well your hair isnt damaged permenently, all you have to do is cut it often so all the damaged parts could go away it might take a while but when the dyed part grows out it might go back to normal
