I don't know if you're currently enrolled, have been dropped out of college for awhile, or what your status is so I'll just give some general advice. First, make sure that the personal problems that caused the difficulties in the past are under control so they don't cause you to do poorly in the future.
Basically, grades don't ever go away. If you're still at the same university you can retake the classes. The universities that I know of all replace the older grade with the more recent grade if you retake a class. Besides if you started over you would probably have to retake many of these classes anyway. You would have to check with your university to find out what their exact policies are.
If you've been out of school awhile and are wanting to enroll somewhere, many programs will offer conditional enrollment or some type of "fresh start" program. These don't make your grades go away either. They just give you another chance to get back in school and prove yourself.
I wouldn't recommend going to another university and lying about taking classes in the past. If it was discovered later it could cause you major problems. For instance, if you had a career that required being licensed and the licensing board found out. In this case you could be stripped of your license because most of the boards require you to be of good moral character. Of course, that's just one example of what could happen.

It is considered unethical but it can be done. Go to a totally different college, one that is not affiliated with your present school and register as a freshman. You will have to jump through all the hoops just like out of high school unless you are old enough to be considered a nontraditional student. 25 or older will usually work. Note if you have student financial aid or loans then you can not apply for help and you will have to start repaying loans while in school.

Better idea is to aim for a 2 year vocational degree at a 2 year school. Try nursing my wife just signed a 9 month contract for Hawaii that paid a $10,000 signing bonus, all expenses, and $50,000 over the 9 months. not bad for an AA.

You can just retake all of your courses. It sounds like a pain but just take them all over again. The highest grade should be what you end up with. If you think you can do better take them again and get the higher grade.

YES..........you can take the classes over and pass them...........but you take the first ...."F's " with you..........they don't clear ..........

P.S. They are called transcripts.......so it would be very difficult to try and pretend you don't have failing grades!

Colleges want your transcripts even if the last one was 50 years before.

its very possible if you are attending community college, just go to another one and start from scrach but for universities i dont think there is any way unless you go back to community college and transfer it back to that school again.
