go to start->Search
type in *.XLS
After the search
View->Details
Right Click on the "Name" field
Select "date modified" if it isn't already selected
Go over to the "Date Modified" field and click it once
Your excel files are now listed in order of date, just look at the ones' with the date range you're looking for.
You can also filter the date before the search. Play around with it and if you have anymore questions, contact me through Yahoo!

Sorry, I don't think you can. Excel DOES keep track of the last 4 documents that were opened. Other than those, I doubt you'll be able to determine what was opened prior to those.

Open excel, click on file open and then click my recent documents

On your computer using Windows XP, go to START, MY RECENT DOCUMENTS. You will be able to see all of the files you have opened.

THANK U SOOO, MUCH ,, ACTUALY I HAVE LOST MY SHEET THAN,, I HAVE SEARCH FOR WHOLE DAY BUT DIDNT FIND THAN I SEARCHED FOR . XLS THAN SORT TIME WISE AND FINALLY FOUND IN JUST 2 MINUTS,,,
