you're right, the only reason everyone keeps preaching that looks isn't important is because it is damn important and everyone knows it, if you are talking about marriage then the ugly women with the heart of gold would be a better choice and thats kind of common sense but if its dating then i would like the hotter one better because i think it would be fun to tame her but all this is for people whos not in love because if i like someone she can look worse than a mud fence post and i would still think that shes the most beautiful person in the world and im not just talking about the inside.

Well, think of it like this, if you take the evil *****, you have to be a bigger, eviler ***** than she is to control her and have great nights in bed with her all the time. Take the the woman with the heart of gold and you get to be yourself and have a great life and live happily, and even if she's ugly, you don't care that much, cause you love her. And besides, time can change things, the ***** could become nicer, and the gold hearted woman could become as beautiful on the outside as on the inside. It depends mostly on the person them self, I'd take either for the hope that I can change them for the better and make them a happier person.

well l agree they are more important than people are willing to admit to but ask yourself, ( if your the person who is apparently ugly) What quailties do you have that can make you shine, and then people would probally notice you. IF you were that hottest meaniest girl thats mean and has no talent think about how you were acting, maybe have an attidude ajustment...if you know what I mean. I can really relate to you on this question too

My answer.
Both are required within certain levels. The skin will make the guys go for you but it is the brains that make them stick with you. If only brains and no skin then guy do not turn up at all and if only skin and no brains then guy fall for you and desert you later.
