Honey, as you mature, your body will begin to slim down on its own. You can help get yourself and keep yourself in shape by eating a balanced diet (no starving - doesn't work and only lowers your metabolism), do something physical every single day. Put on your ear buds and go for a long walk. Just make sure you get moving. It's sooo hard to be patient but these are the basic keys to fitness, for a life time. *-*

Baby fat usually goes away on it's own, but you may still be a little chubby all the way until you're 18. It can take a while for baby fat to melt away with puberty. Plus, at 14, I don't think doing situps and crunches should be your main focus. Try walking or jogging instead. It's less intense but involves the entire body, so you burn more calories and lose fat faster. Situps and crunches at 14, when your body is constantly changing, could give you kind of a boxy shape, where walking, jogging, or even running are healthier and shape your whole body, giving you a better looking figure overall.

By the way, when I use the term "baby fat", I'm guessing that you are female. Although that term is usually for little kids, sometimes when you hit puberty you tend to gain a little more weight, which is mainly fat that collects on your breasts, hips and thighs. It's not really baby fat, just the way the body prepares itself for womanhood and possible childbirth later on. When you get around 18, you'll get taller and the extra pounds you gained during puberty will distribute more evenly on your body. Cardio exercise and plenty of water will help you get the figure you want, without starving or depriving yourself. At 14, the last thing on your mind should be the word "diet".

Baby fat was mabey a poor use of words but i do know what you mean. You're still growing and you'll probably find that as you get taller the fat will be less noticeable.
Do you have any older siblings? If so, look at their figures to see what your body might turn out like.
You're too young to start worrying about dieting. Just try to be healthy and do exercise you enjoy. And drink plenty water!

At 14 it is not "Baby fat". This is just something that parents tell their kids so they don't feel bad about having some extra weight on them. Even if you are not eating junk food, eating too much of anything can keep your weight from going down. Look at the back of the containers before you eat something and see what the actual serving size is.

exercise + diet = no baby fat... try not to eat before sleeping. A good way to have less appetite is to drink water before your meal. Do NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Just use willpower and discipline to overcome the problem. Good Luck.

Sit-ups and crunches build muscle, not burn fat. If you want to burn fat, then you need to go cardio (running, biking, swimming, etc). At 14, it's not baby fat anymore.

Talk to your parents and your gym teachers. Tell them what's bothering you and they will help you out. You still have alot of growing to do.
