There are many societies in the world that rely in inbreeding to sustain the tribal population, and this is especially the case on small islands inhabited by the primitive or poor. They do so because they believe they have to, for their survival.

Given that you are asking from a place that has the technology to connect to the WWW, I doubt that is your situation. If it is, feel free to correct me and the hecklers who have answered before me.

To want something others are forced to accept is not uncommon, but it is unpopular. It is away from the norm, otherwise called wierd, but that doesn't make it wrong. There are people who choose to be extreme leftists and extreme rightists politically, there are people who choose to be gay and lesbian, there are people who choose to be buddhist monks, catholic cardinals, christian nuns, angilcan priests, etc, and all of these things are called minority groups. There are also illegal minority groups, like drug addicts, rapists, murderers, thieves, etc. Most of the population of the world do not fall into any of these catagories, and that is the norm.

People tend to fear what they don't understand, and will heckle and attack what they fear, under the justification that they are defending themself pre-emptively from a possible attack from an evil doer (ring any bells?? That's what the Bush Admin said before going into Iraq).

In this place, asking this question, in a world this s**tty, you have been labeled as an evil doer. But I know you are not a bad person, and I know your simply fantasizing about someone you like, and I now know that you are fully aware of the consequences of the actions you are considering.

Now here's the hard part. I cannot tell you what to do! You have to make up your own damn mind!! Good luck!!!!

I had a crush on my cousin once. I was 9 and he was 10. But he isn't technically related to me by blood because he is my step grandma's grandson. So I think my situation was a little less weird =P

Yes. It's wrong. I don't care how far you are removed. She's your family and it's normal to find her attractive but not in an intimate and special way. That is very dysfucntional and you need to stop immediately before there are any regrets. There are million of girls in the world. I'm confused why you would choose your cousin as the one you'd focus on romantically. Be her friend and her family, nothing else. PLEASE. It's weird.

Crushes are normal. Spend time and get to know her. But do NOT take it farther than that. It's your cousin...do you really wanna pull on that thread?
