It depends. I would give him a quick physical. Take your hands and squeeze and push easily on his whole body starting from the feet to the stomach to the head. This will check for problems because animals will let you know if what you are doing hurts. I would watch him and see if he gets sick again. He might have just ate something that didnt settle in his stomach. Look at what he threw and make sure there's no blood. If he throws up again put him in chicken and rice. He may be sick and that diet is very easy on a pets stomach.

He probably ate to much to fast. Make sure he has water so he doesn't get dehydrated. In the morning he might not want to eat right away, just like humans, after you throw up you sometimes don't feel like eating. Put a smaller portion that you normally give him in his bowl and if he eats it then just give him the rest but that way he gets a break inbetween. If he doesn't eat then just leave the food in his bowl for a little bit. Mine ended up eating after being awake and running around for a little bit

Idk if this will help but my middle daughter has sensory integration at that age she did the same even biting herself. she would get frustrated cuz a toy car wouldn't move properly or a block wouldn't fit and literally she would go into sensory overloading. soothing would just make it worse as it heightened her senses. i was told by her pedi. to find a safe place (no sharp corners carpeted area and where nothing could harm her) and let her calm down. put her down and walk away. Im not against spanking but with a child who gets frustrated easy or has a problem with touch during meltdown it is not the right thing to do. and yes this is a meltdown not a tantrum but it doesn't mean ur child is mentally ill. do how ever metion it to ur pedi they could give u some ideas

Wait an hour of he vomits to give him water bc that make him throw up again....if he hasn't thrown up in an hour start with a small amount of water....the most important thing is to make sure that he doesn't get dehydrated.....most children can go a day without food if they have the flu they just need liquids

Maybe he's sick. Most likely, it's normal because they're just like human babies. Yes, giving him lots of water is a good idea. Usually it's not a problem if it doesn't occur often.
Other times my dog threw up when he ate too much or ate kibble's & bits.

Maybe he ate too full and played to hard. Sometimes after my dog had a really full meal and plays to hard he'll throw up. If it happens a few times than maybe you should take it to the vet.

This happens to my dogs to. It is a good idea to give them water, purified water, to keep them hydrated. He probably just ate the food to fast is why he is throwing up..hope that helps.

As long as he's fine now, maybe it was just a fluke. If he stops eating and drinking though, take him to the vet right away! It happened to my Lab and it turned out he had Parvo, it almost killed him.

He should be fine. He probably just got an upset stomach from playing all night. If it's a continual thing, then you need to talk to your Vet about it. Honestly, I think he's fine.
