My computer is not able to read PDF files and I have tried to download Adobe Reader from their website and it still doesn't work. What else might be wrong?

PDF files can only be read by the free software reader from Adobe. See http://www.adobe.com and click on the Adobe Reader icon to download the application.

Try reinstalling adobe reader.

If the problem still exists, and you think that it is a valid genuine pdf file, try linking the file extension (.pdf) to the acrobat reader executable (AcroRd32.exe). You could do so by going to ControlPanel---FolderOptions--FileTypes and then selecting .pdf file type

something might be wrong with the installation. :) try reinstalling your adobe reader. or maybe try installing adobe photoshop or illustrator - these will open pdfs. or maybe try downloading a PDF to word program. good luck.
