Many people, celebrities included, have died this way. Jon Erik, and Bruce Lee's son to name a couple.
You don't play around with guns, period. Even a blank cartridge will discharge debris that will kill, maim, blind or just plain hurt you. Rule of thumb, don't point a gun at anything you are not willing to destroy. That includes guns believed to be unloaded, or loaded with blanks.

You could ask Brandon Lee. He was the son of Bruce Lee, the martial arts actor. Brandon was the lead actor in "The Crow". A scene in the movie required him to be "shot". Another actor fired a pistol, loaded with blanks, the wad from the blank struck him and he died several hours later.
If you want to shoot yourself, try paint ball. . ., will hurt like hell but might not kill you.

ask Brandon Lee during the making of ;''crow'' he was killed by a gun with blanks in it.to make the desired bang effect blanks must be loaded as a real bullet ,minus the lead.the wadding is what killed B. Lee.

no, it would be extreemly dumb because of the fact the pistiol is a clean gun and isn't designed to deal with the stress of a 9mm cartridge- the bun might desire to blow up in you hands so in case you like you hand on the tip of yopur arm, then i propose you do no longer.... additionally it would be unlawful without a gun enable.

You could die. The explosion from the blanks still powerful enough to kill someone at close range. Actors often die from doing something that stupid

if u didnt put enything in the barrol and shot the gun totally blank nothing would come out exept a lot of air and a realy lod berst and maybe some gun powder nothing to kill u though IF ITS COMPLETLY EPMTY! if not yull die even a bullit without gunpowder in it even one without a cap if it dose by enychanse go thourgh the baroll it can kill u

you cannot shoot yourself with blank bullets. blanks does not go through the barrel they only make a pop.
