i saw a Christian webpage that there is one sure way to convert a Muslim to Christianity.
ask him why Jesus was arested. so i ask you why was Jesus arrested?

Good question, but how can they answer you something they don't know, or refuse to know. They have been taught all their life a certain things about Jesus Christ, and just asking a question is not going to get them to see it how the Christians do. They can't and won't, that would be against their faith.
Muslims, here are some questions for you.
If you care to answer. Why would God the Almighty chose to save Jesus life and replace Him with another person so he will not suffer, and yet your prophet died and suffered when he died, and at the same time you believe that Muhammad was his favorite prophet? why? If it is true that God replaced Jesus with another person! Does that means God Favor Jesus Christ above all of us including your own prophet? if so, Why? Think about it.
I am not looking to convert you.
Ever wonder why! ask and ye shall receive.

Jesus was purifying the monotheist religion that Abraham, Moses and all the previous prophets taught. There were lot of superstitions during those times in Judaism and religion was being converted to money making business. Jesus questioned all these and preached pure monotheist faith. Jews didn't like Jesus questioning their beliefs and deeds so they called Jesus an impostor and started persecuting him.
Anyway, Jesus may not have ever imagined that he will be turned into God himself (or son of God) by later generations, thus turning away from the first commandment of God.

It does not matter whether you change your name or not. But by changing your name to something sounding Muslim will help you to be identified as a Muslim. If you choose to, how about Mary (or Mariam in Arabic), its the name of Jesus's mother. Mary has been given the highest status among women in Quran for her piety. What is important is character and faith, and as someone who has understood Islam and then accepted it, you will make a lot of difference to Islam compared to the multitudes who are Muslims just because they are born to Muslim parents. All the best in your new journey, I am sure you will stand up for real Islam.

He was arrested because He didn't always say the people pleasing thing, He spoke the truth! And the Pharisees instigated His death by threatening an uprising. The Romans actually put Him to death, but it was the Pharisees that were pushing the idea.
The Pharisees had a plan that failed. They planned to arrest Jesus without a lot of people around. And they did, and they tried to bring in witnesses to bring false testimony up about Jesus. That didn't work, so they instead played the 'King' card as Jesus claimed to be the King of the Jews. An offense to the Pharisees but Pontius Pilate saw that there was no offense Jesus committed. By all rights, Jesus should have been let go. But alas God had other plans, it was the time that the Messiah should die for the sins of the world. So the Pharisees were given the power to convince Pontius to put Him to death.
Basically, Jesus was arrested because the Pharisees were being threatened as to their position in Israeli society. A position where they enjoyed power and prestige over many people.

Jesus wasn't arrested for pissing off the Jewish leaders, he was arrested by the Romans for causing civil unrest. He was getting too powerful as far as Rome was concerned, and he was killed because they feared he would start a rebellion.

He was supposedly arrested for treason, in a way. I am a muslim woman, and I don't fall so easily into those traps BECAUSE I know the Quran and Islam so well. There is a saying that converts are more religious and more knowledgable, and that seems to be true. For example, the extremists like to kill women for attending school and professionals such as teachers for teaching. They ignore the verses in the Quran saying that educaiton of the highest form possible is mandatory on both genders and that it is not permissible to force one to follow the religion since the verse "Let there be no compulsion in religion".
