Many years ago, The Beatles came to the USA. Everyone wanted to see them… even the animals. (The Monkeys did see them)
So, one day, the chicken set out to go see the Beatles… but in order to do this, it had to cross the road… thus…the reason why it crossed the road.
No one was around the Farm, because everyone who was anyone, went to see the Beatles.. even the Farmer.
That’s what the farmer was doing and why he was there. No one wanted to miss the Beatles..
But when the Farmer got there and saw the chicken there too, he was so upset, he laid an egg..
So that answers the question, which came first, the chicken or the egg? The chicken was at the concert before the egg was..

The farmer was distracted...the chicken saw a quick way out by crossing the road. It saved the chicken's life!
What was who doing where in the first place? I didn't understand that part!

the chicken crossed the road because she saw a hott, buff rooster across the road and she wanted to flirt with him. The farmer was probably havin a chewin' tobacco spittin' contest with his pals, because he is such a redneck.

You'd cross the road too, if Col. Sanders was chasing you!! He was running for his life!
