It'll be a chain reaction, Iran nukes Israel, Israel has time to fire off retaliatory strike, US jumps in to protect Israel, N. Korea seizes the opportunity to invade the south while the US is busy and stretched thin, so too does the People's Chinese Army takes over Taiwan, In order to stop Korea with limited manpower, US uses tactical nukes, in response China lofts to continental US targets, automatic triggers in US Strategic Command send nukes toward China....can you live thru all this....hmmm, maybe if you join stnglove in his deep silo.

To think there'd be a winner in a nuclear war is madness. There are now more than 50,000 nuclear weapons, more than 13,000 megatons of yield, deployed in the arsenals of the United States and Russia -- enough to obliterate a million Hiroshimas.

But there are fewer than 3000 cities on the Earth with populations of 100,000 or more. You cannot find anything like a million Hiroshimas to obliterate. Prime military and industrial targets that are far from cities are comparatively rare. Thus, there are vastly more nuclear weapons than are needed for any plausible deterrence of a potential adversary.

The Bible is a book. It doesn't predict the future...

The next World War (Not sure if it's 3 or 4, because the Cold War wasn't really a war and it was a by-product of WWII), might start when we try instilling democracy in North Korea, Kim Jong Il is pretty crazy, so it's not impossible...It won't last long though, we've learned from our mistakes...The consequences would be bad at first, such as a draft, strikes and peace protests. After the war, however, since it will mostly be on foreign soil, we will not have much damage and the economy will boom, higher than what it is today.

I don't know if there's going to be another world war. At least there won't be a world war fought from country to country. It will be a world war fought between religious groups. And hopefully each of those groups will kill each other off until all that's left is the Buddhists.

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." -Albert Einstein

It will start if Iran and North Korea enter the war fronts...of course this could have been avoided if our administration wasn't so utterly improvident!
