Hey girl, I had the same problem but we turned out to be great friends. He moved on and is in a new relationship, he still says stuff and will hit on me, but he knows that I am not interested, I just say thank you and take them as compliments. Just make sure that he doesn't make you uncomfortable and always tell him straight up how you feel.
Good luck and God bless! :)

sorry but you can't be friends with them. Once you start another relationship your friend will start to get jealous even though you are not dating and your new partner will notice that your friend likes you and wonder why you hang out with them. Sorry but if he doesn't stop hitting on you, you can not be friends with them.

Just tell him that you don't see him that way and that your friendship means more to you, Sometimes a friendship developes in something more over time, but now is not the time. Tell him that he is actually pushing you away from him if he continues this behavior, and that you would hate to see that happen.

stand your ground and let them know just how you feel about then let them know you are uncomfortable with them constantly hitting on you if you stay friends then that's good if not oh well they were not your friend anyway
