It's not for me. It's for my hubby.
Brandon, the reason why he needs it now is because he is 34 and thought like you did when he was 16 and he never finished.
Unfortunately now he is interviewing for a great job that would pay way more than any other job he's had (because of his expirience) and they wont hire him w/out his GED or a diploma. I suggest you look into getting yours. You never know what job will pass you up because you don't have it.

look within your own city and see if they have an adult learning center. Also it is true that high schools counciling centers will know information. But also go to your local library. Your tax dollars pay for those local librarians to find that information for you.

Any community or technical college will be happy to help you out! Also you can go to a lot of online sites and actually earn your GED online. I recommend going to a tech school where the teachers can help you every step of the way. Good luck! You will feel very satified when you reach your goal.

Your nearest Public Library have all the information you will need, as to finding a center near you. Good Luck! After you get your GED, you can continue your education and go to College. I know I did it. So can you.

what do you mean? i'm 17 i droped out of school 3 years ago, its be-c i have a good job now and i was getting sick so much at school,( my last year i only went 49 days out of 160 i have CF BTW) i love remodeling houses and that all i plan on doing in life so there for i dont see a need for a GED... anyways happy new year!

Take the GED test, you dont have to go to school for it. Just learn the material and take the test, if you pass you got a GED. MAybe buy one of those books that prepare you for it.

go to a local colledge i am cost u but worth i would say how much but diffreent colledges may charge different prices 16th of this most start up but if u pass some parts u dont have to take over takes three days thionk$60 . good luck

some libraries have prep courses there and the teacher can set you up with where it will be administered
